Sete Gerações – Expansão da Usina de Gás Lator

Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided mechanical, civil, and structural design and construction support for installation of additional process equipment to an existing plant south of Grande Prairie, Alberta. Installed equipment included:

  • Increase gas capacity of existing low pressure compressor and condensate stabilization system by installing new equipment
  • Capacity increased from 7.1 to 16.1 MMSCF/d of gas
  • New LP inlet / recycle gas compressor installed in parallel next to an existing train
  • New stabilizer feed drum package complete with feed / bottoms exchanger and liquid pre-heater
  • New stabilizer reboiler and Produced Water pump
  • New packing installed in existing condensate tower to increase liquid handling capacity by 20%
  • New 105,000 US gallon LPG bullet
  • Existing heat medium package demolished to make room for new 10 MMBtu/hr hot oil package
