Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided EPCM services for an upgrade to EOG Resources 15-09 Oil Battery located in Southwest Manitoba to recover flare gas, reduce emissions, and recover valuable natural gas liquids (NGL’s).
The facility was originally constructed in the 1980’s and required an overhaul to several systems in order to meet modern regulatory compliance standards. Project scope included:
- Replacement of four (4) condemned bolted-design water tanks with two (2) 1000 bbl modern tanks c/w new tank foundation and berm
- Relocation of flare stack
- Soil reclamation
- Installation of a new screw compressor package to recover associated gas
- Integration of a VRU package, and oil treating equipment
