Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided design, engineering, procurement and construction support for a new acid gas injection system at the SemCAMS KA facility. These dual acid gas compressors are designed to inject a total of 3.36 MMSCF/d of acid gas at the Kaybob Amalgamated facility located south of Fox Creek, Alberta. Highlights of the project are:
- Two (2) Ariel JGJ/6-6 L2C 1.68 MMSCF/d, 5-stage acid gas injection compressors driven by 700hp Hyundai EMD motors
- 2×50% design
- No dehydration
- Full stainless steel design compressor and associated coolers, piping and valving. Designed for 30-60% H2S.
- Drilling of acid gas injection well (by others)
- Blowdown lineheater configuration
- Methanol injection system
- Modular Pipe Racks with piping installed prior to shipment to site
- Prefabricated Buildings
