Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided engineering, procurement, construction support, and startup assistance for the install of a DexPro™ dehydration unit at Occidental Petroleum Corporation’s South Hobbs facility in Hobbs, New Mexico. The DexPro™ dehydration solution was chosen to expand the EOR solution gas handling and recover some hydrocarbon liquids. The DexPro™ dehydration unit has the following specifications:

- Design Conditions: 350 psig @ 150°F Main Process / 2129 psig @ 150°F High Pressure Recycle System / 350 psig @ 200°F Low Temperature Separator (LTS) & DexPro™ Module Outlet
- Operating Conditions: 297 psig @ 91°F Main Process / 1890 psig @ 120°F High Pressure Recycle System / 284 psig @ 12°F LTS / 276 psig @ 65°F DexPro™ Module Outlet
- 6 bbl/MMSCF Hydrocarbon Liquid Recovery as Sales Oil
- One (1) 84” OD x 20’ Independent LTS to prevent overloading of compressor scrubber
- One (1) 58” ID x 56’ Gas-Gas Exchanger
- One (1) 28” ID x 12’ Gas-Liquids Exchanger
- 3000 psig Thornhill Craver JT Valve c/w Fisher Actuator and DVC6200 Positioner
- Two (2) Wanner Hydracell P400 (non API) Hydrate Inhibitor Pumps c/w 1800 rpm 3/4 hp TEXP Motor & Two (2) Wanner Hydracell P500 (non API) Hydrate Inhibitor Pumps c/w 1800 rpm 2 hp VFD TEXP Motor
