IPC – Lomond E-Compressor Station Piping Modifications

Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided complete EPCM services for piping modifications at the Lomond E-Compressor Station for IPC Canada.

The discharge gas from the K-3 booster compressor originally flowed into the suction of the aging K-1 and K-2 compressors. The K-2 compressor was isolated, and its main breaker feed was removed, with the K-1 compressor to be removed in the near future. The Piping was modified to add the capability of the sending gas from K-3 to either the K-7 or K-8 compressor. All piping was installed on existing pipe-racks.
