Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided EPCM services for the development of a water flood for the Medicine Hat Glauc C Pool, located near Medicine Hat, Alberta. Project scope included:
- New source water (~5000 m³/d)
- Downhole pump, wellhead, and drive
- Flow turbine, totalizer, piping, shelter, and P/L riser
- 13 new injection wellheads (75-250 m³/d, with a design average of 150 m³/d)
- Willis choke valve
- Flow turbine and totalizer
- Pressure gauge
- Pipeline block valve (reduction port)
- Insulation kit
- Small building with Ciscan heater
- New 3” pipeline installed at each of 13 new water injection wells
- Expansion of 3 existing oil battery’s to handle increase in produced volumes (approximately double the volume)
