Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided full EPCM services for the construction of a 42 MMSCF/d sour gas plant that is capable of treating wet and sour flow streams. The pipeline system gathers production from thirteen wellsites. Installed equipment included:

  • 3-phase horizontal inlet separator designed to handle 15 MMSCF/d of sour (2500 ppm) natural gas
  • Amine treating designed to sweeten 15 MMSCF/d plus stabilizer overhead recycle of sour natural gas
  • 15 MMSCF/d refrigeration plus overhead recycle of sweet natural gas driven by Ariel JGK/4 frame c/w a Waukesha 7042GSI
  • 40 hp electric driven recycle compressor
  • 4-stage electric driven acid gas compressor
  • Two (2) rotary vane air compressors for instrument air
  • 1.6 MMBtu/hr heat medium
  • 3.0 MMBtu/hr process heating
  • Two (2) 400 bbl condensate storage tanks
  • Two (2) 400 bbl water storage and disposal tanks
  • One (1) 125 bbl water make-up tank
  • One (1) 100 bbl amine make-up tank
  • Six (6) drain tanks
  • 480 V / 208 V /120 V 60 Hz single-phase electrical power from grid
