Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided complete EPCM services to construct a new oil battery, tie-in seven (7) existing oil wells, and design injection facilities for solution gas to be re-injected into the formation in the Westerose Field located near Rimbey, Alberta. Project scope included:
- Seven (7) 4” diameter pipelines totaling 12.1 km
- Oil battery with solution gas injection compression facility
- 10 MMSCF/d solution gas compression facility for re‑injection.
- 1200 bbl/d oil truck loading facilities.
- Inlet group and test header complete with pigging facilities
- Inlet ESD system
- Inlet ground and test separation package
- Measurement facilities
- 2750 hp 3-stage electric driven Dresser-Rand 6HOS-4 compressor package
- Recycle pumps (5 hp)
- Instrument air system (15 hp)
- VRU (10 hp)
- 1.5 MMBtu/hr and a 0.5 MMBtu/hr line heaters for group and test headers respectively.
- Office / MCC building with automated shutdown, alarm, call out and electrical systems
- Two (2) 2000 bbl sales oil storage tanks
