With respect to natural gas storage, we have engineered facilities using either TEG dehydration, or Joule-Thomson choke plants, depending on the specific conditions and dew point control requirements. Simulating a natural gas storage facility throughout the entire storage cycle can be complex, due to the dynamic operating conditions. For this reason GLE has developed a dynamic process simulator interface to the reservoir model using VMGSim, which for the first time performs accurate modeling of the reservoir, compression, dew point control, and pipelines as a complete system. This interface allows optimized compressor selection, and ensures intelligent equipment selections are made that accommodate the complete storage cycle.
