Husky Energy – Reemplazo del tambor de compensación de glicol de la planta de gas de Ansell

Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided EPCM services for the replacement of a glycol surge drum at Husky Energy’s Ansell Gas Plant.

The existing vessel was the shell side of an old Utility Glycol Heater that was built in 1972. It had reached its life expectancy and was no longer safe to be kept in service. Project scope included:

  • Removal of 1972 Glycol Surge Drum
  • Removal of old fuel gas lines
  • Removal of Glycol Storage Tank & Glycol Pop Tank
  • Install new 1.5 m x 8.7 m Stainless Steel Glycol Surge Drum on existing piles and support and re-use existing piping where possible
