Harvest Energy Trust - Batería de aceite de Sylvan Lake

Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided complete EPCM services to upgrade an existing oil battery located in the Sylvan lake area in Alberta. The following upgrades were completed to the facility:

  • Tanks
    • One (1) new 750 bbl water settling tank
    • One (1) new 750 bbl water disposal tank
    • One (1) new 750 bbl oil storage tank
    • One (1) new 750 bbl slop tank
    • Two (2) new 400 bbl test tanks
  • Existing tank farm and berm were decommissioned and removed
  • New MCC building
  • Instrument air compressor replacement
  • Truck out loading stations
  • One (1) new transfer pump for test tank emulsion to treater
  • One (1) new recycle/transfer pump for oil skimmers and transfer of liquids from tank to tank
  • One (1) new booster pump for water injection pump
  • Upgraded instrumentation system
  • New heat tracing system
  • Civil work and structural steel work
