Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd. (GLE) provided EPCM services for a new oil battery to handle production of 6700 m3/d of emulsion consisting of 6100m3/d of water, 600m3/d of oil, and 15 MMSCF/d of associated gas from numerous wells in the Bantry region. The oil battery treats oil and gas to pipeline specification and disposes of produced water. Project scope included:
- 6700 m³/d total emulsion liquid and associated gas inlet rate
- 600 m³/d inlet oil rate
- 6100 m³/d inlet water rate
- 15 MMSCF/d inlet gas rate
- Free Water Knock-Out (FWKO) Drum
- One (1) 10′ x 40’ long Treater with two (2) 24” firetubes rated at 3.2 MMBtu/hr
- Water Injection Pumps
- Upgrade a repurposed 1000 hp Bingham centrifugal water injection pump from an existing interpipe facility with a new 1000 hp VFD to replace existing 700 hp VFD
- New 1000 hp Bingham centrifugal water injection pump and new VFD
- Two (2) 1250 hp Waukesaw driven, Ariel 4-throw 3-stage compressors
