Devon Canada Corporation – Manatokan, Alberta – A Heavy Oil Battery Expansion

Through strong project management skills, this 10,000 B/D expansion (phase III addition to an existing facility) was executed exactly on the two year schedule and under budget. Excellent Devon/GLE teamwork through on-the-run debottlenecking yielded a start-up capacity of 15,000 B/D – a 50% improvement. The EPCM project services scope started with AFE development and approval, EUB permitting, DBM preparation and equipment specifications, detailed design and procurement, specifications for construction, equipment and construction bidding and contract awards, shop and field inspection, commissioning and start-up.
