We are presently looking for a Calgary based piping checker for a large natural gas plant project.  The ideal candidate will have minimum 10 years of Canadian experience with oil & gas facilities. You will require excellent technical knowledge, maintain customer expectations and be prepared to use Naviswork to check against.

Responsibilities:

• Checking the piping plan and isometric drawings
• Checking of vendor packages and other disciplines' drawings
• Checking of General Arrangements
• Checking of P & ID’s
• Responsible for checking to ensure that piping design is in accordance with all project criteria
• Check compliance with piping design guides, standards, specifications, and procedures
• Check that deliverables clearly depict the design
• Check constructability, operability, and safety in design
